Ashley Judd Wore Things That Were Not Attractive

I guess she has been in LA for some stuff. One day, she wore a super tight off the shoulder dress that makes my eyes hurt, and it was over the knee, and her knee has a gigantic owie on it. Why would you do that? And those shoes. HOLY MOTHER OF UNCOMFORTABLE. I guarantee she got her owie FROM the shoes.

2014-04-08_08_19_01

AND THEN, she wore this.  This dress reminds me of Kermit the Frog’s neck.

I think she was in L.A. for this Kiehl’s thing she “designed” for Earth Day. That scab on her knee is disgusting, she could at least have put a bandaid over it.

Herve Leger bandage dresses seem to be her “go to” style statement lately. She’s definitely in “applying for work in Hollywood” mode.

She looks like she might have put back on a little weight.

  • Amy

Do you think the owie on her knee is from the KY locker room floor? I know, I’m bad.

  • EllieUK

    Hey, where is everyone?

  • Valerie86

That Kieihl’s picture is awful. She looks haggard and bony, and way too plastic in the face. She reminds me of a much younger cousin–a KY beauty queen type–she shares that style. Never mind that she’s like, fifteen or twenty years younger, and it looks barely passable on Kelly Anne. The other photo is much better. She at least looks real in it.

  • Gail

Boy, she’s definitely into the skin-tight, off-the-shoulder look lately.

  • Reminiscent_of_Purple

Hey guys I hadn’t been receiving emails for comments for quite some time so I looked today and lo and behold: we’re on Disqus now. Ok. Have we moved to this thread now? Baby Annie is having a rough couple of days — spitting up a lot and having a tummy ache. I’m thinking it was due to some clementines I ate. Trying to avoid citrus fruits to see if it helps any. Poor thing. It rips my heart out to hear her cry. As for me, I’m feeling mostly ok. The worst pain I have is oddly in my knees when I go to stand up, but it’s better than it was. I haven’t been without either my mom or my sister staying with me ever since I got back from the hospital, for which I am grateful, but it is wearing my mother out as she has trouble sleeping at my house. So then I end up worrying about her. She insists she’s fine but I can tell she’s not. She hasn’t slept properly in 11 days, has diabetes, looks pale and sighs a lot. Plus she just looks plain old exhausted. She also has IBS. But my husband is hardly any help at all so she’s been a lifesaver.

  • Hannah_955

Hi RoP, I’m so sorry you’re having a tough time of it, and poor AnneMarie… I hope her tummy settles down. It’s funny to think that if she’s on a 100% mother’s milk diet, the only thing you can tweak is what YOU eat.

Is your mom having trouble sleeping because your hubby snores, or because she’s waking up to tend to Annie? or some other reason?

Maybe you should go and stay at your mom’s house for a while! Or tell hubby to shape up and co-parent. I’m mad at him, is that OK?

As for the list, we switched to Disqus and I think Jessica must be off on some vacation or doing something “unpostable” as she says so we’re quiet all of a sudden. I find that I’m reluctant to post on Disqus for no reason I can really articulate, except I keep having to click on “sort by newest” and then I worry that I’ll miss something if people are replying on threads instead of strictly chronological order. It doesn’t take much to discombobulate me does it?

Hang in RoP and try to update more often, we’re all on pins and needles wanting to know how things are going but I understand that updating a group of people most of whom you’ve never met is maybe not a top priority.

  • Gail

I’m sorry to hear Annie is having tummy problems. Poor little darlin’. Breast feeding never worked for me so I have no good suggestions. How far away does your mom live? I agree with Hannah, maybe you could go there for a few days to give her a little rest. I can’t sleep at other people’s houses very well, either, for no apparent reason.

  • Caroline

OMG… that first dress makes me dizzy. And that scab makes me sick. Please, invest in Curad or Band-Aid or something!

Wow, I haven’t been her in a long while. I’ve missed everyone! To go back and try to read all the threads/comments is nearly impossible.

How is RoP’s baby girl? Hope all is well with that sweet little girl.

    How is everyone else?

Have I missed anything juicy or fun? (Duh, of course!)

  • Caroline

Ugh, sorry. I just now saw that RoP’s AnneMarie is having some tummy troubles. And I’m sorry that your mom is not having an easy go of it. Time for hubby to shape up, IMO.

I’m not a Disqus fan, either. I prefer simple, chronological order. Everything in order. 1-2-3. Yeah, I’m a nerd (I like squares over circles because squares fit together nice and neat). 🙂

Didn’t realize that the posts were out of order… must remember to check the sort button.

Now, will we receive comments in our E-mail? I didn’t see a box to tick that I wanted E-mail notifications.

Anyone watch Long Beach IndyCar Sunday? (I’m hearing crickets, right?) It was a good one.

  • Caroline

Just figured out how to (hopefully) receive E-mail notifications. Moral of the story: Caroline should read before asking a question. :/

  • EllieUK

    Hey, where is everyone?

  • Caroline

    That’s what I was wondering!

  • Hannah_955

Hello everybody! The second we switched to Disqus all the air went out of the threads for some reason…anyhoo, I’m still here, being good and working hard. Am wondering where the heck Jessica is? I hope she’s off having a fabulous vacay and will tell us all about it when she gets back, as opposed to – sniff – gone forever.

  • EllieUK

Yes, I miss you all too much for this to end! What have you been up to (other than work), Hannah? Easter holidays here for my son and the weather has been lovely!

  • Hannah_955

Me, I’ve been ticking things off my “to do” list that I should have done months if not years ago! It’s kinda fun. I’m also getting interested in home decorating. I’m just a renter but I think one’s environment is important, and my rent is low enough that I figure, why not put a little money into fixing up the place? The bare bones are quite nice, hardwood floors, lots of windows. But it’s a 1950 building and architecturally unimpressive, plus I think it needs some crown molding. I love that in this day and age you can just look up DIY videos on youtube. So, sometime in the next few months I may be doing some demolition work. Just plaster and cabinetry. I think I’ll start with the kitchen and if that goes well I’ll move to the bathroom. It desperately needs re-tiling.

Anything I do, I’m not telling the landlord. He’s an asshole. Plus he doesn’t live on-site, neither does his property manager, so nobody would notice or care.

Since I’m a puzzle maven, I think I’ll build some sort of puzzle into the kitchen backsplash, or maybe the shower tile. Sort of a “Hannah was here” so I’ll always have my footprint on the place even after I leave. Hee!

Speaking of which, I got invited to a dinner for puzzle creators with this architect who created a bunch of puzzles for an apartment he redid for a couple in NYC. I was so excited when I read the original story in the NYT, I actually wrote to him. I did something similar for some houses in Austin Texas. When I found out he was coming to San Francisco I wrote to the guy organizing the dinner and he invited me. I’ll bring some stuff for show and tell.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/12/garden/12puzzle.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

I mean, is that awesome or what???

That new decorating show on ABC with Nate Berkus – I am starting to get hooked on that show. Although I think they emphasize style over functionality. Everybody was going all gaga over a kitchen with open shelving instead of cupboards and I’m all “but stuff will get DUSTY.”

So, about Ashley. I love this article which damns with faint praise:

    http://hookedonfilmwa.wordpress.com/2014/04/18/top-5-ashley-judd-films/

“Ashley Judd has had a varied career and has never really reached the heights of critical acclaim, but she has certainly been involved in some fantastic films.”

Ouch! She’s been “involved” in some fantastic films – usually ones in which her role was small enough that she couldn’t drag it down.

    Her top 5:

Heat (1995). She was a supporting character in this. Pitiful that it is so often mentioned in her CV since it was 19 years ago.

Crossing Over (2009). Again a supporting role, or rather one of an ensemble. This movie tanked at the box office. Lost a boatload of money.

A Time To Kill (1996). Again, 18 years ago and a minor supporting role?

Double Jeopardy (1999). Again, 15 years ago. This time she was a co-star and the movie did well. However, it had a ridiculous plot premise, and it was essentially a remake of “The Fugitive” right down to Tommy Lee Jones playing the pursuing lawman (well, in this case, parole agent). I think anybody could have played her role and people would have gone to see it (I repeat: remake of “The Fugitive” starring Tommy Lee Jones – I’d watch Tommy Lee Jones read the phone book).

Frida (2002). Another small supporting role. And that tango scene with Salma Hayek with the “hot” lesbian kiss. No heat in that scene at all…

  • Hannah_955

BTW if you sort by newest it won’t sift replies to the top. IOW if you reply to someone’s post, it will get pinned below it, wherever that original post is in the chronology. You’ll get emails though. That’s why I don’t like those threaded replies…

  • Janet Lee

I’m the same, even if their place is so much nicer than mine and the bed is more comfortable. I think subconsciously, we’re not familiar with the smell of the sleeping place, and for a lot of people, they’re worried about not having their own bathroom.

  • Janet Lee

Everything Ashley does is deliberate. That scab is very very visible and obvious, and yet, she left it uncovered and wore a short dress. She did it on purpose, and that’s what really annoys me. Because she WANTED people to notice.

  • Amy

i’m here — lurking. I think we need to send out a search party for Jessica!

  • Amy

I’m waiting for AJ to tweet her congrats to Bill Clinton about Chelsea’s unconscionable breeding

  • Hannah_955

Amy I think AJ has a double standard when it comes to breeding. The “chosen” people like her and celebrities she thinks are worthy – it’s OK for THEM to breed. Just not regular folk. And especially not the people in the third world countries she visits.

I stay up late working and often have reruns of classic TV shows on in the background (ME TV) … just finished an episode of “The Untouchables” and got curious about Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. Figured he’d be long dead but to my astonishment he’s 95 and still alive!

Karl Malden lived even longer. He was 97 when he died. He was married to the same woman for 71 years. His father lived to 89 and his mother lived to 103!

Did you know he was Serbian and his real name was Mladen Sekulovich? That name came up a lot in his various TV shows and movies, they’d slip it in somehow as the name of a person being paged in the background, or he’d address some bit player by that name.

  • Hannah_955

Brain fart – for some reason I always confuse Robert Stack with Efrem Zimbalist Jr!

  • Amy

They are both awesome. Know who else is still alive? Abe Vigoda!!! He lives in town next to where I grew up, and members of my family frequently see him out and about.

  • Hannah_955

Abe Vigoda is 93 – good for him!

  • Hannah_955

So, AJ is 46 today. Sliding toward 50. Anyhoo Dario’s brother Marino tweeted “Happy birthday to my sis @AshleyJudd! X” – guess her life coach called him up and threatened him to be nice to her on her birthday.

  • EllieUK

Ugh, I just saw that as well, Hannah!

Did you see the picture of Dario with the dog? Too cute.

I’m missing Jessica? Do you think she’ll come back?

  • Hannah_955

Meanwhile 14 minutes ago Dario tweeted this:

“Fantastic road trip with @SpeedsterAl & Sean until pot hole took out 2 tyres @dgcouncil the bill is on its way… Thanks Dad for the rescue!”

@dgcouncil is “Dumfries and Galloway Council” – that’s in the far southwest of Scotland about 80 miles from Edinburgh.

Guess he’s celebrating AJ’s birthday with an Ashley-less road trip in Scotland!

  • EllieUK

    Good for him!

Someone mentioned how he always seems to mention that he’s moved back to Scotland at every opportunity. I watched the link to the Craig Ferguson show that Tony Kanaan was on. He said it too. Ha!

  • Hannah_955

Ellie, I hope Jessica is just away on a fabulous vacay and not either mad at us or simply bored with us and moving on. She’s the glue that held us together! Jessica, we miss you!

  • Janet Lee

Nooooo, can’t lose Jessica!!! Please drop us a line when you can!

  • Hannah_955

Oh my, I’m up all night watching old TV shows on cable, and “The Saint” comes on. For some reason I actually read the credits, and there is the name of one of my mother’s old boyfriends! I never met him since we left England when I was little … this was after she had divorced my father and he had moved to America (she brought me here to reconcile with him but it didn’t work out). I can’t remember actually whether this actor was a friend or a boyfriend … but there was one man who was crazy about her, he was up in the north of England performing at a theater, and when she wired him to say she was leaving for America, he came down on the train and she met him at the station and she said he asked her to marry him and she said no, and they danced together on the platform. This is a memory from my distant childhood. I wish she were still around to ask which one it was … and the story of the dancing. Anybody would have been better for my mother than my father, but she had this Irish Catholic sense that I should be raised with my father, thank goodness she came to her senses, and I guess I’m glad I was raised in America rather than England although I have always had this affinity for England…I have all these snapshot memories of my childhood…just fragments really … the sight of fat red-breasted robins hunting for worms in the dew-laden grass, green tree-lined lanes, lovely brick houses and fireplaces, and for some reason, the smell of apples!

  • EllieUK

So, have you been back to England Hannah? I know you said you have been to Ireland.

  • Hannah_955

Ellie, yes I’ve been back to England a few times. The first time was when I was 21, back in college. I had a management traineeship in France one summer and I got a train pass and went all over Europe. I actually went down to the town in Hampshire where I lived as a baby, New Milton, and even found the house I lived in! I’ve been back a few times since then, only for a few days each time. Oddly three of my best friends have moved to England over the years, although only one is still there.

The last time I was there was in 2009 when I went to Ireland with my uncle Mike to bury my mother’s ashes in the graveyard between her parents. So I flew by way of London and my best friend and her husband, who live in Croydon, came and got me and I stayed a few days with them on either end of the Ireland trip.

  • Hannah_955

About England – I cannot tell you how strong of a visceral reaction I have when I watch the British mystery series on PBS (our public television station = highbrow for those of you not in the States). We have Father Brown, Foyle’s War, Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes (all three versions) … they seem to be set in villages and towns with beautiful little brick houses, all of which have lovely gardens, and the detectives drive down country lanes lined with trees, and I *long* for that.

  • Hannah_955

A woman committed suicide by walking onto a freeway overpass a couple of days ago, then jumping off onto the street below. I was driving along that street a few minutes later when I saw all the police, fire, highway patrol cars, plus the Medical Examiner’s van (aka the meat wagon) … lots of yellow crime tape. I didn’t know what had happened so I parked and walked up and asked someone. Then I saw the body lying under a yellow tarp. A Hispanic guy and I made the sign of the cross, the only moment of humanity at a sad scene.

At one point they lifted up the tarp and I saw her. Long red curly hair, lying on her back, blood all around her head. She was fairly small.

The drop was only about 30 feet, I’m surprised it was fatal, except that she maybe went head first.

On a bright sunny San Francisco afternoon, somebody felt so desperate, so hopeless, that she walked onto a freeway on-ramp and jumped to her death. In the middle of all those people, she must have felt completely alone. I wanted to know her name, her story, whether she had any family, or pets, or even a home. Whether someone will claim her body, or she’ll be buried in Potter’s Field somewhere. And I wanted to know
why. Why she did it. And in particular, why she did it that day, and not the day before – or the day after. And why such a violent death?

I wonder whether anybody driving by on the freeway saw her walking along and called 911, and whether it would have done any good. How long did she stand there before she climbed over and jumped.

  • Hannah_955

Weird things you find out. Saw an article about “what would you do if you inherited billions but it was Nazi blood money?” not exactly accurate, given the facts but close enough. Basically Goebbels’ wife was previously married to an industrialist named Quandt, and they had one son. Goebbels and his wife had six children (five girls and a boy). They killed their children and committed suicide after Germany’s defeat in WWII. Magda Goebbels’ son from her first marriage eventually inherited half of his father’s empire, and with his half-brother, grew it into a massive fortune. His four children now are worth about $2 billion. Their cousins (his brother’s children) own almost half of BMW and collectively are worth $26 billion.

The “blood money” refers to the likely use of slave labor and benefiting from military contracts with the Nazi regime during WWII.

Me, what I find most interesting? Is the names of the Quandt/Goebbels children.

The two Quandts: Harald and Herbert

The six Goebbels: Helga, Hildegard, Helmut, Holdine, Hedwig and Heidrun

  • Hannah_955

You are bad! Seriously I don’t think she’d do it on the KY locker room floor, she probably slips them into her hotel room.

  • EllieUK

So, is CG going to Scotland? Marino tweeted a picture of Dario and Luca and had earlier tweeted that he had driven his family up to Scotland. Then CG tweets “Passport. Book. No Blackberry. Across the Atlantic again…”

    Urgh.

Oh Jessica. Where are you? Please come back!

  • Hannah_955

Hi all, I hadn’t heard from my vet and it had been 11 weeks since Georgie’s necropsy, so I wrote to her. She wrote back today:

“Georgie’s necropsy results have been finalized. As all things with Georgie, the results were not straight forward. There were cancer cells (sarcoma) found in multiple lymph nodes, but the primary site of cancer was not found despite microscopic evaluation of his liver, intestines, spleen and lungs. I’m sorry we don’t have more information for you than this, but I hope knowing that he did in fact have something cancerous going on brings you some comfort that you did absolutely everything possible for Georgie.”

  • Hannah_955

There is a wonderful vet up at UC Davis, a Nels Pederson, who is pretty much the world’s foremost expert on FIP, which was the other disease that was high on the list. At a friend’s behest I wrote to him back in February and he was kind enough to actually review at Georgie’s case. So I wrote to him just now with the results and he responded with this:

“I did mention the possibility that this was lymphangiosarcoma, a tumor of the lymphatic vessels. These are notoriously difficult to diagnose because proliferating lymphatic cells also occur in
types of inflammation unrelated to cancer. Also, it is a rare tumor and it can be overlooked. I think that fact that they did see sarcoma cells in multiple lymph nodes puts an end to the mystery. Ginger had cancer and the infiltration of that cancer into his lymph nodes and lymphatic’s was the cause of the chylous effusion and ultimately his death. What type of sarcoma (cancer) it was is somewhat immaterial, because sarcomas in cats are common and virtually impossible to deal with once they start to spread. Thank you for keeping me in the loop and giving me these final results. Sincerely, Dr. Pedersen”

    What a lovely man.

  • EllieUK

A really lovely man! It’s,so nice when people show and interest and make you feel special when really you have been asking for their help!

I hope that makes you feel a bit better about what care you gave Georgie now. You said at the time that one of the chief responsibilities as a pet owner is knowing when the right time is to say goodbye, from their perspective. Looks like you timed it perfectly.

  • EllieUK

Sorry, lots of typos. That will teach me to answer on my phone and not proof-read!

  • Hannah_955

Apparently Ashley traveled to Washington DC to appear as the featured speaker at this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1398282693781528/

You gotta figure that any bio they provide comes straight from her, so it’s interesting that they mention that she was featured in People’s “50 most beautiful” THREE times. Really? When was the most recent? 2001?

And of course, they say she has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard. I guess she has dropped the “Mid-Career” part of her degree thereby granting herself the cachet of a 2-year program with a 20% acceptance rate, as opposed to the 9 month program she actually did, that has a 50% acceptance rate.

Sounds like from the various people who retweeted her words of wisdom, she’s trotting out her usual folksy sayings such as

“If it’s on my plate I must have ordered it.”

Seriously, her speeches are so predictable anymore, it’s like refrigerator poetry – just move the words around to spell some Ashley-speak bromide.

“GW Greek Life along with the Student Association and Program Board present Grand Chapter 2014.

We are proud to announce this year’s Grand Chapter Speaker, Ashley Judd!

Ashley Judd distinguished acting career includes Ruby in Paradise
(1993), Double Jeopardy (1999), Tooth Fairy (2010), Dolphin Tale (2011),
and Divergent (2014). But the stories
she tells are not about being a being a Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated
actress or about making People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People list
three times. As a board member for Population Services International
(PSI) and as Global Ambassador for YouthAIDS, Judd speaks on behalf of
those who cannot speak for themselves.

    Judd has traveled the
world to do international public health work on all fronts– maternal
health, child survival, human rights, family planning, STD and HIV
prevention, malaria prevention and treatment. She has experienced
firsthand the connection between poverty, illness, and gender
inequality, and how that sets up the pain and degradation that is sex
and labor slavery (on which she testified before the General Assembly of

Hubby’s family is originally from Killarney in Ireland. It’s near the edge of the western part of southern Ireland. There’s a suburb in Sydney called Killarney Heights and the street names are Irish city names like Dublin Avenue, Galway Avenue, Tralee Avenue, Ballyshannon Road, etc. We went to Ireland a few years ago. It was sooooooooooooooooooo beautiful. So much green!!!

  • Hannah_955

    Hi all,

Played in this yesterday: http://playdash.org/DASH6/. There were 400 teams from around the country + London, England. I loved the route, it started at Aquatic Park, went past my high school, my elementary school, my childhood home in Cow Hollow, and ended up 1/2 block from my present home!

We got a fake business card at each clue site (9 total) and then had to solve a metapuzzle that involved them at the end. Each card had some color on it (grey, orange, pink, purple, aqua, blue, brown, red, green) … the colored portion was actually a rebus that solved to a 9 letter word.

To help us solve the rebuses we got 9 definitions.

    Wanna play?

Here are the 9 definitions, and here’s one card, which I’ll explain to give you an idea how it works.

    1. Put it back!
    2. Where we came from
    3. Something new
    4. Struggles
    5. In front
    6. Higher than princes
    7. Unintended consequences
    8. Standing, Justly
    9. Hard to believe

The colored (green) portion of this card has the word DISC over a graphic. We got a free time-released hint that said the graphic resembled the letter Y, and that some (but not all) cards had images resembling letters on them.

The answer is “DISCOVERY” (DISC over Y) and it matches the “something new” definition.

  • Hannah_955

Photo didn’t load (too big) so I resized it. Here it is:

  • Hannah_955

And here’s one for you to match to a definition and solve:

I’m a regular lurker but am coming out to say that I noticed the same things, Ellie. Also noticed over the weekend that Dario had company from Indianapolis tv, a sportscaster and camera crew, it seems. There is a short clip today of Dario and Dave, sports guy, on Channel 13 in Indy. Still hoping CG wasn’t there, but afraid she is/was!

  • Hannah_955

The list of “bizarrely out-of-context inappropriate resume dropping” – a favorite habit of Ashley Judd – just grew by one:

    http://gwtoday.gwu.edu/ashley-judd-greek-community-has-strong-role-play

“I have a collection of great memories and lessons from each film. ‘A Time to Kill’ was an awesome ensemble cast, late summer heat in Mississippi, playing on the river, eating fresh peach pies and shacking up with [Matthew] McConaughey. I learned there has to be something fundamental about a film in every scene. It was delightfully written, beautifully acted, somewhat wonderfully comedic—but the story is one of social justice, about race.”

She pretends she brought him up because the movie they were both in was about social justice and race. That’s just a cover story for “19 years ago I dated Matthew McConaughey for a nanosecond – you know, the guy who won Best Actor this year.”

Which is about as close as she’ll ever get to an Oscar. Which I think even *she* has figured out by now. But hey, at least she “shacked up” with somebody who has one so she’s still more important than US.

  • Janet Lee

This just made me angry. Are we thinking of the same movie, because nobody with more than two brain cells would ever describe it as being ‘delightfully written’. WTF?!!! Why the f- bring up MC and shacking up with him!?! He’s married with children. So inappropriate. It’s not the fact that they had a relationship, but the fact that he has a life with his own family now, and it was unnecessary to mention ‘shacking up’ with him. We get it. You had sex with him. Don’t mention it again.

  • Hannah_955

Good point Janet. How would she feel, back when she was married to Dario, if some famous woman gave an interview and mentioned shacking up with Dario 15 years earlier?

Their relationship was VERY short-lived. I think she fell into the category of a movie set hookup, not an actual romance.

  • Janet Lee

I think before Dario, all of her relationships were more like flings. It’s a safe bet that she’s going to mention Michael Bolton, if he wins another music award or something worthy. They were only together for six weeks and she said she was asleep for most of those 6 weeks anyway!!

  • Mockarena
  • Hannah_955

The plot thickens… I got curious about what Dario’s CG has been up to and whether they are still dating.

Dan Wheldon’s sister Holly tweeted to CG* back in Dec/Jan to ask whether she’d be at the event in January in St. Pete (St. Petersburg Florida) and she said she would. Dario was definitely there.

Then, Dario was spotted at a RRDC dinner in honor of Mario Andretti on April 10th, in Long Beach, CA. The next day CG tweeted that she had enjoyed the dinner.

Now, she works in motor sports so it’s not a smoking gun if they are at the same event.

But at the very least we can infer that they see each other occasionally,

The question remains – are they still SEEING each other?

If Jessica would rejoin us she could answer that for us!

I sorta feel like the guy whose kid disappears and he never moves or changes his phone number in case the kid comes back. I feel like I need to keep posting on THIS thread so Jessica can find us. But that’s silly because she just has to look at the most recent Ashley thread and there we’ll be!

    Hi, all.

I’ve really, really missed being on here. Trying to keep up with the board through E-mail notifications, but it’s not the same. 🙁

So, where IS Jessica? Can Mockerena contact her? Inquiring minds want to know!

@Hannah_955:disqus : (Ooh, pretty cool that we can tag others here) I saw a post on Facebook that reminded me of you. It was about a San Francisco woman who has saved thousands of kittens.

    Ugh… CG. ‘Nuff said.

You know who else tends to irritate me? Holly Wheldon.

And people who end every Tweet with “x” or some form of it.

Hard to believe it’s nearly May.

    Anyone have big summer plans?

  • Caroline

I wonder if Jessica’s having problems with the ex-stepmother? Hope not. Hopefully she’s just on a wonderful vacation.

I still don’t see what DF sees in CG. At all.

  • Caroline

Does she have to mention fruit pies every time she opens her… ahem… pie hole?

  • Hannah_955

@Caroline if you find that FB post about the woman and the kittens, let me know. Without knowing anything about it, I wonder whether it is Mary Anne Buxton, who used to run the SPCA’s Feral Fix program until she was let go (horrible mistake). She went above and beyond . She knew all the feral cat colony caretakers in the City, and even once called me when a nasty old curmudgeon next door to my little colony (which was several blocks from my house, and mostly maintained by a friend, although I did all the trapping) … he trapped some of our cats and dumped them at the pound, which would have killed them. Mary Anne went over to the pound every day looking at the cats who had come in, and when she saw a couple of ear-tipped cats (which is like the feral caregiver’s secret handshake, it’s a visual signal that the cat has been fixed and is from a managed colony, they cut the tip of the ear off when they speuter them) … she looked up where they had been trapped, realized they were from my colony and called me. I bailed them out, released them, found out who had been trapping them and entered into negotiations with him to stop (he was annoyed that they were pooping in his flower beds).

    Mary Anne is a SAINT!

  • Hannah_955

OK, I just googled that phrase and found this, I’m sure this is who you were talking about? I have never heard of her. WOW!

    Hi again,
Reading back over previous posts I noticed that in March Jessica said she had lots of travel coming up and that her step-monster would be with her caregivers. She also mentioned claiming squatter’s rights on a certain Scottish mansion and redecorating while there. Hopefully she wasn’t joking!

  • Mockarena

Jessica is trying to come back but is having Disqus problems. Hoping we can get them sorted out! 🙂

  • Janet Lee

Miranda Kerr said something about her separation from Orlando Bloom which sounds like something Ashley would say:

‘Well, we are very good,’ she said. ‘We speak every day. We’re really close,
we’re going to be a family forever and we really do love one each
    other.

‘We have genuine love and respect for each other. We’re very connected and I feel grateful for that.’

BEWARE OF SCAMS!!! DR MALAIKA ODOGWU IS THE ONLY SPELL CASTER TO TRUST!( [email protected] ) will be of great help to you.I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of dating my hobby, he left me because I lost my womb . I felt like my life was about to end I almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time. Thanks to the spell caster called Dr malaika whom i met online after my friend Tracy told me how he has helped her. She testified about how Dr Malaika brought back her Ex lover in less than 3 days and reversed the effect of her lost womb, and at the end of her testimony she dropped Dr Malaika’s email address. After reading all these,I decided to give Dr malaika a try. I contacted him via email and explained my problems to him. In just 3 days, my
Hubby came begging. We resolved our issues, and we are even happier than
before, am pregnant now to God be the glory. Dr Malaika is really a gifted man and i will not stop publishing him
because he is a wonderful man… Come to think of it I didn’t pay much and all I have to do is send him little 250 dollars which he used in providing the materials used for the spell. Even my pastor said that God works mysteriously, that some men are used by God to help others. If you have a problem and you are looking
for a real and genuine spell caster to solve all your problems for you. Contact
Dr malaika anytime, he is the answer to your problems. Here’s
    his contact [email protected]

  • Hannah_955

OMG Benita Moyes I am so glad you posted that! I was just about to hire a different spell caster (shalom aleikem, maybe you’ve heard of him) but now of course I realize that Dr. Malaika is the only spell caster for me.

By the way, when you lost your womb did post it on craigslist? They have a really useful “lost and found” feature. If somebody found it they might be looking for you. It also helps if you post a reward. Also, do not describe your womb in your ad … let the person describe it to you so you know they really have it.

Oh wait, I see you are pregnant so you must have found your womb at some point. Congratulations!

  • Jay

    wtf?

  • Hannah_955

Jay, that’s just me riffing off the ridiculous post before mine, since I am in that-sort-of-mood today.

  • Janet Lee

    Obviously it’s the Womb Raider.

  • Hannah_955

    Janet Lee FTW!
