I think it’s just on the internet. And in the first episode, he and Larry David go for coffee, and while I was one of the biggest fans of the Seinfeld show back in the day, and these two are obviously responsible for its success, this was really lame.
They clearly amuse each other A LOT. But me? Not as much.
Discuss. Is it just me? Is this super funny and I’m just missing it?

Nope! Not funny. They really are enamored with one another arent’ they? I stopped after 5 minutes or so. Time sucker.
I couldn’t go on.
The thing about the “show about nothing” was that it actually was about *something*. It was about the little annoyances and absurdities of every day life. It was essentially a show about “first world problems” that we’re all familiar with, but no one really verbalizes except for the new Facebook generation that is seriously self-indulgent.
This… this show really is about nothing. And I really don’t have time for that.
There is a lot of George in Larry David. They just amuse each other, and that is what friends do. My friends and I don’t videotape our conversations, but teens of today do. So maybe they will like it.
Couldn’t watch more than a few minutes of it, and even then I found myself daydreaming. I don’t get the “I’m Jewish therefore that makes me funny” idea. If it’s within the context of a situation, then yeah, it’s funny. But just on its own? Oy.
I didn’t think it was funny, but I did kind of enjoy it. I like hearing people converse, and the turns conversations take.
But … I can see why Larry David’s wife was annoyed. When he first mentioned it, I was on his side — who cares if he’s drinking tea or coffee? But after hearing his pronouncements and seeing his food-snobbishness — I’m totally on her side.
By the way, Mr. David? Cholesterol is only a minor factor in heart disease. And it’s not animal products that increase your cholesterol — it’s sugar.
Nice Bugatti though.
Made it 3 minutes. *yawn*
