Hey – did you guys hear about the couple who just had octuplets? OMG. They already have a zillion kids, and they live in this house, apparently.
According to this, she’s already got six other little kids! And they are all younger than 8 years old. So just think about that. This woman is now responsible for raising FOURTEEN KIDS who are all under the age of 8, and 8 of which are BRAND NEW BABIES. Mr. Mock told me the other day that he heard she intended to BREASTFEED. Whaaaaa? In God’s name, HOW?
It gets even more amazing. The father? On his way back to Iraq to continue his work as a contractor there. Yeah. So while he’ll be contributing to the family’s income, he obviously won’t be helping during night feedings. Or day feedings for that matter. Or any of the round-the-clock feedings which will be taking place.
Not a lot is known about the parents, but I hope that they are decent, loving, NORMAL people who just happen to be having a lot of kids. We need decent, loving NORMAL people to have kids to balance out the moronic, abusive craptards who for some reason seem most fertile when they’re either using drugs or prostituting themselves. Have you noticed that? It’s like I’ve told my decent, loving, normal friends who’ve had fertility issues. If you just stand on a street corner and sell your body and get addicted to some really bad drugs, and get on welfare to boot, you’ll get pregnant in no time.
I hope she’s happy now that she got eight.

Yeah… apparently this woman still lives with her parents. It’s the grandfather who is going to Iraq. Sad.

Slight correction though – according to the Chicago Tribune, the woman is a single mom, living with her parents, and it’s her father who’s gone to Iraq to support the family.
Crazy.
Instead of a donated van with all the babies’ names on it, like the people who had six got, these folks will probably get a bus. They claim to “want privacy”. Sure they do. And they are calling it “a miracle”. I call it overdoing modern scientific technology.
What sane doctor would give fertility treatments to a woman who already had 6 kids???
I hope that some facts will come out soon, the rumor mill is just working overtime on this one. I also originally heard that she was single, but CNN was reporting today that the father is a contractor working in Iraq (or heading back to Iraq). Which would probably explain why she might live with her parents (who could help her with the 6 she has plus the new 8). I find the prospect of 8 babies frightening. I don’t envy her or anyone who has more then one at a time. I’m not even going to contemplate the whole fertility drug thing…I just can’t be PC about it at all.

That’s just f*cked up. Last night, a patient came in, 38 weeks pregnant, and smoking enough pot that the exam room smelled of it after she left. And yes folks, you are paying her way.
The show Morning Joe on mSNBC reported that the mom is single,, unemployed and filed bankruptcy last year. Yes, she already had 6 kids and an idiot with a license implanted 8 embryos. Usually, they terminate some of the fetus’ when that many survive to improve their chances to carry them to term. This Mom refused to reduce the herd. She lives with her parents as there no father in the picture to support all her kids. Her father went to Iraq, they say to make money to send home, I bet it is for some peace & quiet!!
So, all you citizens of California, this is all on your dime…hundreds of thousands per child for neonatal ICU care, then ongoing support.
I cannot mock this situation as it is sad and wrong in so many ways.
